Anyone else's step count DRASTICALLY different than before self isolation life? Some days I am couch bound and my step count reaches an impressive 500. Other days I go for 2+hour 12k hikes in the river valley with a bestie 6 feet from my side.
With the provincial parks opening up, I recently went on a socially distanced hike with some close friends. We picked a spot we thought wouldn't have a lot of foot traffic and had the best day finally being able to explore again.
We hiked in Rock Lake - Solomon Creek Wildland Provincial Park. While I would not recommend the Ogre Canyon Trail if you are looking for a hard hike (or a hike at all as we are calling this a nature walk), it was a great day filled with belly laughs and memories made.
